What You'll Do as A Poultry Processor:
  • Follow instructions from Manager/Supervisor.
  • Must be able to use a knife or other cutting utensil
  • Must pay close attention to product to ensure that all unwanted materials are removed.
  • Perform various duties in poultry processing areas (first processing, debone, second processing)
  • Follow all Health & Safety Regulations.

Skills and Experience:

  • No prior experience required; previous poultry or meat processing experience preferred
  • Be prepared to Bend/Lift/Squat/Stand throughout shift
  • Cold, damp, and wet conditions (40–90°F).
  • Exposure to strong odors (raw product, rendering, spices, chemicals).
  • 100% standing/walking, repetitive motion, manual dexterity.
