Quality Control Inspector Job Overview:
Learn to perform a variety Quality Control related tasks such as verify components are produced to print and relate the results to appropriate personal, completing various paperwork and inspecting various inspection gages issued to production.
Quality Control Inspector Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required
- Review operator inspection reports and traveler information.
- Learn to submit reports to shift supervisors and communicate the results to machine operators.
- Follows established departmental policies, procedures, and objectives, continuous quality improvement objectives, and safety, environmental, control standards.
- Knowledge of GD &T
- Learn to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
- Must be dependable and possess a willingness to learn new techniques.
- Follow the quality standards of ISO-13485
- Driven and motivated to complete job tasks in a timely manner.
- Attention to detail.
- Precise and accurate while inspection parts
- Always follow core values such as Integrity.
Minimum Job Requirements & Education
Completed degree(s) from an accredited institution that are above the minimum education requirement may be substituted for experience on a year for year basis. College Degree or High school diploma or GED; with at least 2 years of experience that is related to the duties and responsibilities specified. Prior class experience relating to Metrology, GD&T, blueprint reading, and use of precision measuring equipment a plus.
