We're currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer for a leading custom manufacturer of industrial equipment in Saint Charles, IL. You'll play a vital role in the customization and design of all new and existing product orders from customers.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or related.
- 2+ years of experience as a design engineer or mechanical engineer.
- Machine or Industrial Equipment Design experience is a PLUS.
- (Pumps, motors, valves, cylinders, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.)
- Analysis and design of steel structures or weldments would also be a PLUS.
Responsibilities:
- Involved in the customization and design of all new and existing product orders from customers.
- Generally juggling several different equipment projects at one time, but primarily focused on the actual design activities.
- Designing parts, components, changes to new or existing machine.
- Using SolidWorks
- Doing the 3D solid modeling, prototyping.
- Using SolidWorks
