Accounting Assistant

Our client on the eastside of Cincinnati is looking to add an accounting assistant to their team on a temp to hire basis. The ideal candidate will have 1+ years of accounting experience along with the desire to help in various areas of the accounting department. This position will include Cash Application, Payroll Processing, Assisting with Account Payable, Handling Bank Reconciliations and eventually having some Month End and General Ledger duties.

This is great opportunity for someone looking to grow within a small company and take on additional responsibility over time. Pay for the position will range between 17 and 19/hr. starting out. This is a temp to hire opportunity.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of recent accounting experience
• Associate or bachelor’s degree is highly preferred
• Willingness to help wherever needed
• Excellent communication skills
• Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills
• Experience with an Accounting Software
