Position Overview: We are seeking a motivated and skilled Field Service Engineer to join our team. This role is based primarily in our Woburn office but will require some travel to provide exceptional support to our customers. The successful candidate will be responsible for a wide range of technical services, including in-house support for all our instruments and software, responding to customer tickets, troubleshooting, updating HubSpot, managing inventory, and providing our Field Application Scientists with phone support. This role is crucial for maintaining the high level of customer satisfaction and operational excellence that Curiox Biosystems is known for.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide in-house technical support for all Curiox Biosystems instruments and software, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Handle customer support tickets with professionalism and efficiency, troubleshooting issues and providing solutions in a timely manner.
• Conduct regular updates and maintenance on the HubSpot CRM platform to ensure accurate tracking of customer interactions and technical support activities.
• Track quality metrics and work with the Quality and Manufacturing teams to enhance product longevity.
• Travel to customer sites as needed to provide onsite support, installation, maintenance, and training on Curiox Biosystems’ products.
• Manage and maintain the inventory of spare parts and instruments, ensuring availability for customer needs and in-house operations.
• Offer technical support over the phone as part of the FSE team, assisting customers and colleagues with queries and issues in real-time.
• Work closely with the sales and technical teams to provide feedback from the field and suggest improvements to our products and services.
• Stay updated with the latest developments in the field and participate in ongoing training to enhance technical skills and product knowledge.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Service Engineer or in a similar technical support role, preferably in the biotech or life science industry.
• Strong technical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot complex issues with scientific instruments and software.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to explain technical details to non-technical users.
• Familiarity with CRM systems, preferably HubSpot, and proficiency in inventory management practices.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites and possess a valid driver's license.
• Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
