Help Desk Specialist

We seek a Help Desk Specialist to join our fast-paced and dynamic team. As a Help Desk Specialist, you will be the first point of contact for our employees and clients seeking technical assistance with our construction software and hardware systems. We are looking for someone who is reliable, patient, and passionate about technology.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for construction software and hardware systems, including laptops, printers, and mobile devices

- Respond to incoming help desk calls, emails, and chat messages from employees and clients in a timely and professional manner

- Identify and escalate complex issues to appropriate team members and track resolution progress

- Install and configure software, updates, and patches for company devices

- Collaborate with the IT team to improve and streamline processes and procedures

- Train staff on new software and hardware systems

- Maintain accurate records of help desk calls and resolutions

- Proactively identify and resolve potential issues before they impact our employees and clients

Qualifications:

- High school diploma or equivalent, technical degree or certification preferred

- Proven experience in a similar technical support or help desk role

- Strong knowledge of computer and mobile device hardware and software systems

- Excellent communication and customer service skills

- Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment

- Familiarity with construction software and hardware systems is a plus

- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends and evenings
