Quality Weld Inspector

Thompson First Group is seeking a Weld Inspector for a temporary to hire opportunity for a local client in Aston, PA.

Responsibilities:

• Welding Inspection: Perform thorough visual inspections of welded components, structures, and systems to assess their quality, workmanship, and compliance with relevant codes, standards, and specifications.
• Quality Assurance: Verify that welding procedures and practices comply with applicable codes, standards, and specifications, such as American Welding Society (AWS) codes. Ensure adherence to safety protocols and practices during welding operations.
• Documentation and Reporting: Accurately document inspection results, including visual findings, measurements, non-conformities, and corrective actions. Prepare detailed inspection reports, including photographs, drawings, and other relevant documentation.
