Sign Shop Support - General Laborer

We are currently seeking Sign Shop Support - General Laborers to join our team at our shop in Avon, MA. Our Sign Shop Support laborers fabricate aluminum and construction signs, help prepare sign orders, help keep inventory of stock, and performs a variety of general shop duties. If you enjoy working outdoors and have prior construction industry experience, we encourage you to apply. Those who have experience in other industries such as warehouse or landscaping are also encouraged to apply!

The starting pay is $22.00 and may increase based on experience

What You'll Do:

• Gather, lift, and carry inventory items such as reflective sheeting, aluminum blanks, tools and finished signs, etc.
• Measure, cut, radius, and sheet aluminum and composite signs to required dimensions
• Trim edges of sheeted sign blanks.
• Mark, position, and apply letters to sign face.
• Assist with custom layout for printing process.
• Operate squeeze roll machine.
• Count incoming aluminum blanks and place in storage areas.
• Clean signs after fabrication.

What We Need from You:

• Ability to lift and carry at least 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation
• Experience working in sign production and fabrication is preferred
• Experience with graphic arts is preferred
• Dependable and reliable transportation to and from work is required
• Comfortable working in a warehouse-type environment
