Job Title: Part-Time Sign Shop Staff


Position Summary

The Part-Time Sign Shop Staff member assists with the design, production, and installation of signage products. This role supports daily shop operations, ensuring high-quality output, timely order completion, and excellent customer service.


Key Responsibilities

Assist in producing various sign products, including vinyl graphics, banners, decals, and custom signage.

Operate and maintain equipment such as printers, vinyl cutters, laminators, and hand tools.

Prepare materials (cutting, weeding, taping, and assembly) for production.

Help with sign installations on-site when needed.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Provide basic customer service, including answering questions and assisting with order pickup.

Review work orders to ensure accuracy and meet production deadlines.

Assist with inventory tracking and restocking materials.

Follow company quality standards and safety procedures.

Requirements:

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Previous experience in a sign shop, print shop, or similar production environment is a plus (but not required).

Basic computer skills; familiarity with design software.

Ability to use hand tools and learn equipment operation.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Good communication and teamwork skills.


Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods.

Ability to lift materials up to 40–50 lbs.

Manual dexterity for detailed tasks such as weeding vinyl.

Comfortable working with tools and machinery.
