Job Title: Lead Software Engineer

Job Duties: Eclipse Gaming Systems, LLC in Duluth, GA is a leading provider of entertainment solutions for the casino industry. Eclipse Gaming Systems, LLC is seeking a Lead Software Engineer to
design, develop and integrate new casino games and apps across the company product portfolio.

Job responsibilities and duties include:

1. Design and architecture of casino-based Class II slot game platforms;
2. Design, develop, and integrate new games and features in C# using internal gaming platform for Class II Slot Games;
3. Work alongside studio teams to implement game elements based on design documentation and gameplay feedback;
4. Troubleshoot bugs and game play issues;
5. Manage game architecture, and platform integration for Class II slot games;
6. Manage Engineers to complete objectives for each games’ production cycle;
7. Mentor Engineers and give opportunities to foster professional development;
8. Hold regular code review meetings with Engineers to go through existing code and potential improvements to gain maximum efficiency in game play, which in turn reduces coding errors
and places less strain on device memory capacity;
9. Make technical decisions regarding coding, platform use and engineering in order to make the best Class II slot game possible. Examples may include: examining memory usage per
game or feature, determining software version or plug-ins to use per game title, advising game design committees to ensure technical capabilities and project prioritization;
10. Provide engineering updates to executive committees, showing forward progress for each project;
11. Stay up to date with game design trends with a focus on casino games;
12. Utilize understanding of game design, playability, and user experience.

Minimum Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or any related field of study plus at least four (4) years of experience in the job offered or as a Software Developer, Technical Lead, Unity Design Engineer or related occupations.

Qualified applicants must also have demonstrable proficiency, skill, experience, and knowledge with the following:
• MS Visual Studio, C++, C# programming, Unity, .NET framework with API programming and SQL
• Jenkins Groovy software script development
• C#, Unity and API/SDK Development;
• Design and architecture of casino-based Class II slot game platforms
• Agile development and version control systems including GIT, SVN.

No travel. WFH Benefit available depending on project needs.
