Pharmacy Data Analyst

As a Pharmacy Data Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth data analyses and compiling comprehensive pharmacy information into visual quarterly reports for our clients. Your role will be pivotal in providing valuable insights and actionable recommendations to optimize pharmacy benefit programs and enhance overall client satisfaction.

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Data Analysis: Conduct thorough analyses of pharmacy data sets including claims, utilization, costs, and trends using various analytical tools and software.
• Report Compilation: Compile and organize pharmacy information into detailed and visually appealing quarterly reports for clients, highlighting key metrics, trends, and performance indicators.
• Internal Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Account Management Team to understand their specific needs, preferences, and objectives in order to tailor reports and analyses accordingly.
• Insights Generation: Extract meaningful insights from data analyses to identify opportunities for cost savings, efficiency improvements, and enhanced patient outcomes within pharmacy benefit programs.
• Quality Assurance: Ensure accuracy and integrity of data by conducting thorough quality assurance checks and validation processes.
• Presentation: Present findings, recommendations, and insights to clients in a clear and concise manner, both verbally and through visually engaging presentations.
• Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and advancements in pharmacy analytics to continuously enhance reporting methodologies and deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field preferred.
• Proven experience in conducting complex data analyses and generating actionable insights, preferably in the healthcare or pharmaceutical industry.
• Proficiency in data analysis tools and visualization software such as SQL, Python, R, SAS, Domo, or similar tools.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate data into meaningful insights and recommendations.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality assurance.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
• A passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and improve healthcare outcomes.
