Job Description Summary:

Birch Hill Recruiting is currently seeking a skilled PLM Solution Architect on behalf of our client's Business Development team. The PLM Solution Architect will play a pivotal role in designing and implementing effective solutions using the PTC Windchill Suite of software applications. This role will involve collaborating with clients to understand their requirements, architecting solutions, and leading implementations to ensure successful outcomes.

Position Requirements:

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of industry experience as a consultant.
• 3-5 years of experience with Windchill implementations preferred.
• Demonstrated proficiency in architecting PLM and Change Management solutions.
• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Experience working with CAD PDM and PLM Platforms.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively complete tasks.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% overnight.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• US Citizenship required (to support ITAR customers).

Position Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with stakeholders to develop comprehensive scopes of work, schedules, and execution plans for engagements.
• Facilitate and document blueprinting and mapping sessions with clients for PLM, Change Management, and Migrations.
• Analyze customer requirements and contribute to the design of PTC solutions for complex needs.
• Develop user stories, functional, and technical requirements for PLM, Change Management, and Migrations.
• Produce technical specifications for customizations and system integrations.
• Design and execute implementations for PDM, PLM, Change Management, and Migrations.
• Work closely with project managers to ensure project scope adherence and initiate change control as needed.
• Provide best practices for user acceptance testing, training, design, documentation, and delivery efforts.
• Identify new opportunities within existing accounts as gaps are identified during service delivery.
• Participate in pre-sales demos and customer training sessions as required.
• Create statements of work.
• Lead and facilitate user training and user acceptance testing sessions.
• Mentor and collaborate with team members on design, documentation, and implementations.
• Support project teams and customers with advanced technical questions and solutions.
• Travel to customer sites in Canada, USA, and Mexico with a valid passport as required.
• Record and resolve project issues, escalating when necessary.
• Monitor project task progress and identify project risks, developing mitigation plans as needed.
