About the Position
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for reviewing, reconciling, and paying our organization's bills in a timely fashion as well as providing financial and administrative support for the organization.
Essential Functions

- Performs accounts payable functions including creating purchase orders, invoicing, and reviewing of accounts payable documents.
- Codes and reconciles credit card statement and processes outgoing credit card and ACH payments in compliance with financial policies and procedure.
- Manages general ledger entries and reconciles when needed.
- Prepares and maintains accounting Excel spreadsheets.

Required knowledge, skills, education and experience:
- Knowledge of accounts payable practices and general accounting procedures
- Proficiency in MS Excel
- Good working knowledge of relevant accounting software
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred knowledge, Skills, Education, and Experience:
- Prior experience with Smartsheets and/or Excel
- Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM
- Non-profit/ grant experience
