Tax Supervisor

Salary: $ 80,000.00

We have partnered with a large public accounting firm in the Pittsburgh, PA area to provide them with a Tax Supervisor. Please review the below description and let us know if you are interested.

Prioritized Must Have Skills for the Tax Supervisor:

#1. Must have at least 5 years of tax return preparation experience (forms 1065, 1120, 1040, 990)

#2. Must have a BS in accounting

#3. Must have solid knowledge of tax code, laws, and regulations.

#4. No more than 3 jobs in the last 10yrs

Responsibilities of the Tax Supervisor:

Tax Supervisors deliver quality tax services to clients of the firm. Supervisors review individual, trusts, non-profit, and business tax returns, with the ability to train and advise staff and senior level accountants on interesting and complex engagements. As a supervisor you will utilize tax-related software to review tax returns and research tax matters as they relate to the needs of the client.

Requirements of the Tax Supervisor:

• Enjoy the public accounting industry and want to continue advancing in your career
• Bring 5 years of tax return preparation experience (forms 1065, 1120, 1040, 990)
• Hold a bachelor's degree in accounting (CPA not required)
• Provide excellent technical and project management skills
• Have solid knowledge of tax code, laws, and regulations
• Effectively communicate, both verbally and in written form
• Exhibit an advanced level of professionalism when representing the firm

Other Key Requirements for the Tax Supervisor:

• In office role.
• No sponsorships or visa holders. No Corp-to-Corp.
