Direct Hire Opportunity for a Customer Solutions Specialist

Location: Portland, CT

$55,000-$65,000

Responsibilities:

• Extensive customer interface by phone/email/text and in-person
• Quoting, ordering, processing, and the delivery of machine spare parts.
• Solicit information from customers through a variety of questions and probing techniques, assessing their needs and requirements.
• Meet all sales and production metrics as prescribed by management.
• Work closely with the Materials group to set up stocking levels and safety stock
• Provide spare parts kits, working with engineering for all new machines and aftermarket enhancements.
• Coordinate with stockroom personnel on customer shipping procedures and methods.
• Maintain customer data base of machinery and contacts.
• Communicate field issues to engineering and quality as needed.

Qualifications:

• 3 years minimum of proven sales experience working in an Inside Sales/Customer Service or Support role in a manufacturing company.
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written plus listening skills.
• Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel and MRP a plus)
