Job Description

Job Description:

We are currently seeking an Intermediate Low Voltage Technician (Level 2) to join our team. As a Level 2 Technician, you will play a vital role in the installation, maintenance, and repair of low voltage systems, including security alarms, Structured Cabling, CCTV, access control, and audio-visual equipment. This position is ideal for individuals with some experience in the field who are ready to take on more responsibility and further develop their skills.

Qualifications:

  • Ability to pull, terminate, test, troubleshoot and repair commercial cabling & Security Systems
  • Knowledge of Commercial job-site construction practices
  • Basic industry used hand tools and knowledge of field
  • Positive attitude and able to work in a team environment
  • Punctuality and accountability
  • Reliable mode of transportation

Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current Valid Driver’s license
  • Background check is required before starting
  • Basic low voltage hand tools are required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role, demonstrating proficiency in installing and maintaining low voltage systems.
  • Strong understanding low voltage wiring techniques, and relevant codes and standards.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with team members and clients.
  • Flexibility to work non-standard hours and adapt to changing project requirements.
  • Commitment to upholding safety protocols and promoting a culture of safety in the workplace.

Responsibilities:

  • Independently perform installations, configurations, and maintenance tasks for low voltage systems.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues efficiently, applying advanced problem-solving skills.
  • Document all work performed accurately, including detailed reports of installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols and regulations at all times.
