Low Voltage Technician


Pay Rate: $24-$32/hr depending on experience and certifications


We are currently hiring low voltage Technicians with 1+ years of experience installing, servicing, troubleshooting and/or programming security devices in a commercial environment. Candidates are encouraged to apply ASAP as we have an immediate need in the Richmond, VA and surrounding areas


*Must have a car and valid license*


Job:

  • Running, dressing, labeling, testing, terminating cat 5 and 6 cabling
  • Working in commercial / government environments
  • Mounting cameras, sensors, access points, card readers, mag locks, etc
  • Fiber experience is a plus
  • Able to install support structures: j-hooks, cable trays, ladder racks
  • Comfortable working on ladders and scissor lifts


-Qualifications:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
  • Working knowledge of test equipment such as multi-meters, digital analyzers, battery analyzers, frequency meter, decibel meters, and communicating devices

Compensation:

  • Starting pay $24-$32/Hr depending on experience
