We are seeking a Medical Assistant to become part of our team Family Medicine team. You will perform routine clinical and administrative assignments and make patient care a priority.
Responsibilities:
Escort patients to exam rooms, take vitals, perform phlebotomy, give injections take EKGs, breathing treatments, eye exams, and Clia waived tests. Document and communicate using EHR. Assist physician with patient coordination of care, medication management, and all aspects of the patient care experience.
Communicate with patients, their families, pharmacies and other physician offices and hospitals.
Maintain a safe and clean environment, abide by Blood Borne Pathogen and OSHA regulations and and contribute to managing the quality.
