Machine Operator

Shift Times

2nd shift: 2pm-10:30pm ($1.00 shift differential included in hourly wage)

3rd: 10pm-6:30am ($1.50 shift differential included in hourly wage)

We are seeking a new Machine Operator to join our team.

Your role will be to Operate grinding machinery used in the manufacturing of precision cutting tools, load, unload, sort, count, check quality and make minor adjustments to keep machinery running within strict tolerances.You will work alongside our Machine Operators andSet Ups and report to our Shift Facilitator.

What You Will Do:

• Full time (40 hours/week), timely and consistent attendance
• Obtain stock to be run on machines by following schedules
• Load and unload drills from machine
• Make minor adjustments to controls to assure quality is maintained
• Use measuring Accurate completion of paperwork for maintaining proper documentation of operationssuch as micrometer, ruler and scopes to assure quality standards are maintained

• Willing to participate in various continual improvement efforts
• Communicated the machine and quality status to Setups and Leads
• Maintain a clean, orderly and safe work environment
• All other duties as assigned

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have the following credentials/skills:

• High School or GED
• Available to work full time (40 hours/week) on 2nd shift, meeting attendance requirements
• Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing
• Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
