Construction - Accounting Coordinator

Subcontractor Accounting Payable / Receivable

Searching for an EXPERIENCED person with construction accounting experience

Duties:
- Process accounts receivable transactions, including invoicing (AIA BILLING), posting payments, and reconciling general contractor accounts
- Perform data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Assist with account reconciliation and resolve any discrepancies or issues
- Collaborate with the accounting team to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting
- Utilize accounting software to perform daily tasks
- Prepare and distribute customer statements and follow up on outstanding payments

Qualifications:
- Previous experience in construction accounting

- Waiver knowledge
- Strong proficiency in data entry and attention to detail
- Knowledge of accounting principles and practices
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

- Must be timely and have good attendance

- MUST have or obtain a Notary license within the first 6 months of being hired
