Reporting to the Executive Director of Design and Construction, this role oversees field operations, construction safety, quality, contractor performance, and operational readiness for capital projects executed in active clinical environments. The Director ensures consistent construction practices across all regions, protects patient safety, maintains regulatory compliance, and supports efficient, reliable capital delivery.Position Details:

Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field.
Proven experience managing construction in active healthcare environments across multiple facilities or regions.
Deep knowledge of healthcare construction safety, infection control, and regulatory requirements.
Demonstrated ability to lead through influence in a matrixed enterprise.

Preferred Qualifications
Master's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, or Healthcare Administration.
3+ years progressive construction leadership experience, including significant healthcare exposure.
Professional certifications: CCM, PMP, PE, CHC.
Experience in large hospital systems, IDNs, or academic medical centers.
Background in major capital programs, central utility plants, or highacuity clinical environments.
