Brake Press Operator- $21.50 to $23.00-- DOE

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following.

Maintain a safe work environment (i.e., use of personal protective equipment, proper lifting techniques, etc.).
Performs daily Preventive maintenance on the machine.
Gain knowledge and inspection practice to ensure conformance to quality department specifications.
Inform management or leads of any part or equipment defects to ensure prompt response to the problem.
Start up and stop equipment.

Perform routine operations related to the Press Brake equipment.

Familiarize yourself with the tools, instrumentation, and calibration equipment.
Clean the production area (sweep, mop, and remove debris).
Load and unload items from machines, carts, and dollies.
Feed or place items onto equipment for processing.
Ensure conformance to specifications.
Mark parts for identification.
Place equipment on conveyor belts/tables/baskets/totes for further processing.
Properly scrap non-conforming material (set up parts).
Read and interpret gauges.
Record data.
Use Epicor ERP to log into and out of jobs.
Take instructions from the team lead/management/supervisory personnel.

Work from routings, manufacturing instruction sheets, blueprints, visual aids, or other instructions to manufacture products at required quality levels.
Assemble components accurately, thoroughly, and quickly to approved specifications.
Read and interpret project plans, blueprints, and other written instructions and diagrams to perform the task.
Conserve resources whenever possible to ensure budgetary integrity and client satisfaction.
