Job description

We are seeking Press Operators to operate mechanical and hydraulic stamping presses producing metal components. This is a first shift position! This role is responsible for operating press equipment, inspecting parts, and maintaining production and quality standards in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
โ€ข Operate mechanical and/or hydraulic stamping presses to produce metal parts
โ€ข Load materials and monitor press operations during production runs
โ€ข Perform basic machine setup and adjustments as needed
โ€ข Inspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges
โ€ข Read blueprints and follow work instructions
โ€ข Maintain production documentation and quality records
โ€ข Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area

Qualifications
โ€ข Previous experience operating stamping presses or similar metal forming equipment
โ€ข Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring tools
โ€ข Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail
โ€ข Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40โ€“50 lbs
โ€ข Reliable attendance and ability to work assigned shift

Nice to Have
โ€ข Experience with progressive dies or coil-fed stamping presses
