Summary:

The Operations Financial Analyst will be responsible for interpreting results and making recommendations to Operations management to optimize financial performance. The position will also be responsible for the following: supporting strategic financial initiatives by providing insight and analyses; preparing and interpreting financial/capacity models, identifying expense reduction opportunities through review of reports, ad-hoc analysis, and management reports.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyzing financial data to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities for improvement.
Creating capacity models and forecasts to support decision-making processes.
Conducting in-depth financial analysis of the bank's operational performance
Preparing reports and presentations for senior management and stakeholders.
Monitoring key financial metrics and providing recommendations for strategic financial decisions.
Collaborating with other departments to support budgeting, planning, and forecasting processes.
Keeping abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in banking and finance.
Assisting with reporting for compliance requirements.
Participating in special projects and initiatives as needed.
Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies across Operations

Education and/or Experience

Bachelor's degree in Finance/Accounting, preferred.
Proven experience in financial analysis, preferably in a banking or financial services environment.
Knowledge of banking products, services, and regulations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial software applications.

Skills and Abilities

Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to identifying issues and proposing solutions.
