Job Summary:
Toyota of Cool Springs is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Sales BDC Manager to join our team at our dealership in Franklin, Tennessee. This individual will be responsible for managing our Business Development Center (BDC) for Sales, ensuring the success and productivity of our sales team. The BDC Manager will play a crucial role in driving sales and fostering positive customer experiences. This is a full-time, individual contributor role with a competitive salary within the automotive industry.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a small team of BDC representatives.
  • Strategically generate sales appointments through effective customer engagement.
  • Utilize tools like Automotive Masterminds and our CRM system to identify and target potential in-market customers.
  • Monitor team performance, ensuring goals are met and exceeded.
  • Provide ongoing training and support to BDC reps to enhance their skills.
  • Develop and implement strategies to drive sales and increase customer satisfaction
  • Act as a liaison between the BDC and sales team, providing guidance and support to ensure seamless communication and collaboration
  • Continuously improve processes and procedures to optimize BDC efficiency and effectiveness
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in BDC operations
  • Assist with lead generation and follow-up to ensure timely and effective customer communication
  • Resolve customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and timely manner
  • Collaborate with other departments to promote a positive and cohesive dealership environment


Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Proven experience in sales, call center or customer service management. (Minimum of 2 years)
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Strong knowledge of automotive sales processes
  • Proficient in CRM, Automotive Masterminds and BDC technologies preferred
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
  • Results-driven with a passion for achieving sales targets.
  • Prior experience managing a team and implementing strategies to improve performance
  • Must have a valid driver's license and pass a background check and drug test
