Summary

The Graphic Designer will develop various types of on-brand creative content for Alma marketing collateral using Adobe Creative Suite depending on the medium and goals of the final project. Creating on-brand graphics to meet specific commercial or promotional needs, such as packaging, displays, logos, or imagery for print and digital uses including banner ads, social media posts, website graphics, magazine advertorials, etc.

We are looking for someone who knows how to display the look and feel of luxury of high-end products. They will know how to make the equipment look glamorous. Their design work will have an editorial feel to it. This person's body of work will blur the lines between photography and graphic design.

This position is on-site. We are looking for highly motivated and creative-minded graphic design professionals to come join the amazing team here at Alma Lasers!

Essential Functions

• Graphic Design using Adobe products for both print and digital spaces
• Conceptualize, design, and implement creative graphics and content, both print and digital, on time and within budget
• Follow brand standards and maintain brand continuity across various channels to support Alma’s B2B and B2C marketing efforts
• Keep up to date with the latest software, trends, and computer technologies.
• Knowledge of design techniques, tools, and principles. (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Bridge, and Acrobat)
• Design logos, interactive materials, brochures, postcards, websites, emails, advertising, social graphics, and video for product, event, and sales campaigns
• Clearly explain design rationale that aligns with company business objectives to stakeholders and internal team members

Education and Experience Required

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or similar field of study
• 3+ years of experience in a graphic design focused role

Skills Required

• Meticulous layout and typography skills required
• Proven ability to edit video using Adobe Premier Pro or After Effects
• Knowledge of agile methodologies for project management
• Positive attitude and approach to the job responsibilities and the Alma team
• Microsoft Applications (MS Office, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
• Adobe Creative Suite ( Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premiere, After Effects, Bridge, and Acrobat))
• Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously

Supervisory Responsibility

This position has no direct reports but assists in mentoring peers and other departments as needed.

Work Environment

This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines. This position will be exposed to sensitive content provided by our clients. This content may contain have blood, nudity, or other medically relevant content.

Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. The employee is required to sit for extended periods of time. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Travel

This position requires 5% travel as needed.
