Pet Sitter Dog Walker

Pawesome Tails is hiring!
We are a rapidly growing, locally owned and operated dog walking, dog training, and pet sitting company. We offer services including off-leash hikes, solo leash walks, drop-in visits, custom dog/cat visits and training. Most importantly, we love dogs! We are looking for a reliable pet care professional to pick up dogs at clients’ homes and walk them as scheduled in our pet sitting app for a predetermined time.

Responsibilities:

• Safely transport dogs to and from their homes
• Ensure they have water and feed them if required
• Walking single or multiple dogs in various weather conditions
• Picking up and disposing of dog waste
• Monitor dog interactions and body language, and keep dogs and those around safe
• Provide exercise, treats, pats and love to the dogs
• Scoop/change cat's litter box, feed them and provide fresh water
• Provide regular updates to clients, which includes sharing photos and videos using our portal
• Notify pet owners if pet becomes sick or injured before, during or after walk/visit

  Qualifications:

• Previous experience in animal care or other related fields is a plus
• Passion to work with animals
• Ability to interact with animals in a calm, non-threatening manner
• Possess strong work ethics, communication skills, and time management
• reliable smartphone with data
• Valid driver's license
• Clean driving record
