Admissions Representative

Remington College is seeking an exceptional admissions representative!

If you’re a highly motivated, goal-oriented professional with experience in public relations, sales, or customer service, and you have a desire to help others succeed, we want to hear from you. We’re looking for a talented admissions representative to join our Cleveland Campus. This individual will work with prospective students interested in enrolling in our accredited degree and diploma programs. The position may require some evenings and weekends. This individual will report to the Campus Director of Admissions.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

• Contacts and interview prospective students and assist those desiring admission through the admissions process.
• Successfully completes all admissions-related training programs and displays thorough knowledge of all admissions-related training materials, policies, and procedures, as well as admissions-related documents including, but not limited to, the Application and Enrollment Agreement and the Campus Catalog.
• Contacts prospective students (leads) and provides accurate and complete information about the Campus and the programs of education offered by the Campus.
• Provides complete and accurate responses to questions from prospective and enrolling students, except that he or she does not engage in detailed discussions about financial aid programs.
• Sets appointments and conducts interviews with prospective students.
• Conducts Campus tours for prospective students.
• Assists applicants in completing application and enrollment paperwork, and executes such paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
• Represents the Campus at job fairs and college fairs or other offsite locations as permitted by applicable regulations and as assigned by the Director of Admissions or the Assistant Director of Admissions.
• Provides prospective students with only approved advertising and program or employment-related materials.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned.
• Performs the job onsite when required. Remote work is appropriate when onsite work is not required. Subject to change if superseded by Human Resources policy regarding remote work.

Education/Experience Needed:

• A bachelor’s degree strongly preferred; however, four (4) or more years of continuous experience in a relevant position in sales, customer service, or management can substitute for the educational requirement.
• Registration or licensure may be required pursuant to applicable state regulations and/or standards of accreditation.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English in both verbal and written form.
• Must be willing to work evenings and Saturdays.
• Extensive phone work involved.
• Please do not apply if you have experience in admissions at a for-profit school.
