Network Analyst

*Contingent on Contract Award*

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and analyze network performance, including traffic patterns, bandwidth utilization, and latency, to identify areas for optimization and improvement
• Troubleshoot network issues and outages, utilizing diagnostic tools and techniques to identify root causes and implement timely resolutions
• Configure, maintain, and support network devices, including routers, switches, firewalls, and access points, to ensure optimal performance and security
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement network solutions that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices
• Conduct security assessments and audits of network infrastructure to identify vulnerabilities and ensure compliance with security policies and regulations
• Document network configurations, changes, and procedures to maintain accurate and up-to-date network documentation
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and IT staff on network-related issues and solutions

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 3+ years of experience in network administration or engineering, with a strong understanding of TCP/IP, routing, switching, VLANs, and VPNs
• Hands-on experience with network hardware and software, including Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, and Fortinet products
• Proficiency in network monitoring and diagnostic tools, such as Wireshark, SolarWinds, or Nagios
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex network issues and implement effective solutions
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders
• Relevant certifications, such as CCNA, CCNP, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent, are highly desirable
