WeCare at Heritage Care Center is actively seeking a motivated Health Unit Coordinator for our community in Pittsburgh, PA. Our Health Unit Coordinator performs clerical duties within each nursing unit. The Unit Secretary works directly with all levels of the nursing staff.

Key Responsibilities

· Answer telephone by identifying herself/himself and the unit.

· Receive and direct residents and visitors courteously.

· Maintain a well-supplied and organized nursing station.

· Fill out appropriate forms as needed.

· Print HER packet for all out of facility appointments.

· Notify Nursing staff of all test results.

· Scan and upload all heal information.

· Maintain resident charts.

· Arrange and schedule all transportation needs for resident appointments.

· Preform any other pertinent duties as assigned by supervisor.
