About the Job

ActioNet presents an immediate opening for a Telecommunications Engineer specializing in Voice, Video, and Data, requiring a Secret clearance and based in San Diego, CA. As a distinguished IT service provider and solutions integrator serving the Federal Government and Department of Defense, ActioNet offers a competitive target salary of $170K for this role. The chosen candidate will spearhead the design, implementation, and maintenance of cutting-edge telecommunications systems tailored to the unique needs of DoD installations. Key responsibilities include system design, integration, network infrastructure management, audiovisual system configuration, video teleconferencing support, security compliance, documentation, vendor management, research, and innovation. Ideal candidates will hold a Bachelorā€™s degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Science, possess a minimum of 7 years of telecommunications engineering experience, demonstrate expertise in network protocols and technologies, exhibit proficiency with telecommunications equipment from leading vendors, and possess a strong understanding of DoD IT policies and security requirements. Active DoD security clearance and BICSI RCDD Certification are preferred qualifications.
