Inplant Technician (1st Shift)

OVERVIEW: Under minimal supervision, provide intermediate level color matching, formulating, and small batch blending support on-site at our customer location.

SCHEDULE: 1ST SHIFT (7AM-3PM, Monday-Friday)

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Produce and quality control inks to ensure inks meet or exceed the customer"s specifications.
- Perform color matching and formulation.
- Maintain detailed production and QC records.
- Support customer"s schedule through production coordination.
- Identifies and execute at a high level any rework opportunities based on review of batch tickets.
- Provide strong press side technical service, troubleshoot problems, and provide detailed and consistent technical reporting.
- Maintain monthly and weekly reporting to CTS and Sales organization.
- Maintain housekeeping and safe operations
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lb. buckets; and move 500 lb. drums following operating procedures.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge of MS Word/Excel/Outlook; as well as dispensing and color match software
- Capable of lifting 50 lbs. throughout the day
- 3+ years industry experience
- This is a customer-facing position that requires a high degree of interpersonal skill.
