Automotive Contracts Specialist

As the Automotive Contracts Specialist, you will become an integral member of our reputable car dealership. In this role, you will play a crucial part in performing various administrative and office support duties related to vehicle documentation including handling new and used car deals, dealer trades, reconciliation of schedules, pay offs, posting EFTs, and other related tasks.

Compensation:

Hourly range between $25.00 - $38.00 per hour

Compensation will be determined by a number of factors including educational background and experience.

What You'll Do:

• Process new and used vehicle contracts in a timely and accurate manner.
• Handle dealer trades, pay off used cars, and process wholesales.
• Manage used car purchases, electronic payoffs, and posting of EFTs.
• Provide timely and accurate reports as required by the organization.
• Reconcile sales commissions and accounting schedules related to car sales.
• Verify the costs and transactions for each vehicle sale to ensure accuracy.
• Submit manufacture rebates and maintain an accurate record of amounts due for down payments and amount financed.

What You'll Need to Succeed:

• Highschool diploma required; post-high school education or training preferred.
• Two (2) or more years of experience as an Automotive Contract Specialist; Toyota experience preferred.
• Proficient in telephone etiquette.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on customer service and problem-solving abilities in high-pressure situations.
• Detail oriented with the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a dynamic environment.
• Professional and consistently reliable.
• Proficient in computer skills, including Microsoft Office suite.
• Experience with OMV paperwork processing is beneficial.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Demonstrated strong work ethic.
• Proven track record of executing tasks and fulfilling commitments.
• Experience with CDK is a plus.
• Excellent attendance history.
