Job Description
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in ensuring the best talent is hired! This growing organization is looking to meet staffing objectives by recruiting and evaluating job candidates and advising hiring managers. This is a temporary 13-week position.
Talent Acquisition Specialist Responsibilities:
- Recruit and interview for assigned positions
- Conduct regular follow-up with hiring managers to determine the effectiveness of recruiting plans and implementation.
- Develop a pool of qualified candidates in advance of need
- Efficiently and effectively fill open requisitions (25-30 reqs at any given time)
- Network through industry contacts, memberships, trade groups and employees
- Build a network to find qualified candidates
- Coordinate and implement college recruiting initiatives
- Create descriptive employment postings and advertisements
- Assist with new hire onboarding process
Talent Acquisition Specialist Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, business, or related field required
- Prior Healthcare recruiting experience, 2-3 years’ experience required
- Knowledge of EEO, ADA, Wage and Hour and other applicable Employment Laws
- Experience with Human Resources technology products, including recruiting and onboarding; Talent Management is preferred
- Possess excellent written and oral communication skills; as well as presentation skills
- Ability to adjust work schedule according to the business needs
- Thorough understanding of how business strategies drive talent initiatives
- Experience with MS products, including, Excel, Word, Power Point, and Outlook
- Resourceful, highly organized, and able to prioritize
- Ability to maintain confidentiality
Talent Acquisition Specialist schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5pm
Talent Acquisition Specialist wage depends on experience, $28+ per hour
