Job Description

Siteworks is looking for a SELF STARTING, SELF MANAGING motivated individual to lead our utility teams in the installation of water, sewer, and storm systems. We request that you have a minimum of 3-5 years experience. This is a working supervisor position; you will be working hands-on with your employees and peers installing utilities. Supervisors are expected to have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Job description:

Supervisors will be expected to manage a crew of 4-10 people throughout the assembly and installation of commercial sewer, water and storm drains. You will be expected to be able to read blueprints and shoot grades using a transit, laser level or pipe laser. You will be responsible for driving a company truck from the office to the job site and back every day. Conducting safety meetings and ensuring compliance with safety regulations will be your responsibility. You will be in charge of verifying employee time sheets. Coordination of materials delivery and the purchasing of materials will be a daily responsibility.

Required Skills:

Operate and manage the use of heavy equipment by operators in order to install.
Read blue prints and operate a transit, laser level or pipe laser unassisted
Build Storm drain basins with brick and mortar or utilize a "Knockout" style basin
Install runs of pipe at the proper elevation with the proper slope and alignment
Masonry skills applicable to installation of concrete pipe
Tie a new run of storm drain into an existing box
Install forced main water
Be familiar with installation procedures for PVC, Ductile Iron, HDPE, PVC and RCP
Knowledge of installation procedures for back flow preventer, water meter and copper pipe for water service installation
Schedule any testing required for water lines.
Ability to perform testing of water systems (blow off, pressure test)
Have knowledge of installation procedures for Sanitary Sewer and related cleanouts
Be familiar with installation of roof drains, underdrains and storm systems
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
Strong leadership skills
