Job Title: Restaurant Front of House Staff

Job Description:

As a member of our front of house team, you will be the face of our restaurant, responsible for providing exceptional customer service and ensuring an enjoyable dining experience for our guests. Your primary duties will include greeting and seating guests, taking food and drink orders, serving meals, and attending to guest needs throughout their visit.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Greeting Guests: Welcome guests as they arrive, assist with seating arrangements, and provide menus. Maintain a friendly and welcoming demeanor to create a positive first impression.

2. Taking Orders: Take food and beverage orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring special requests and dietary preferences are noted and communicated to the kitchen staff.

3. Serving Meals: Deliver food and beverages to tables in a timely manner, ensuring accuracy and presentation meet our standards. Provide recommendations and answer questions about menu items.

4. Customer Assistance: Attend to guest needs throughout their dining experience, including refilling drinks, clearing plates, and addressing any concerns or special requests.

5. Cash Handling: Process guest payments accurately, handle cash and credit card transactions, and reconcile receipts at the end of each shift.

6. Upkeep of Dining Area: Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including clearing and sanitizing tables, replenishing condiments, and assisting with basic cleaning tasks as needed.

7. Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with other front of house staff and kitchen team members to ensure smooth operations and exceptional service.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a similar role in the hospitality industry preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Knowledge of food and beverage offerings and willingness to learn about menu updates and specials.
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
