Salary and benefits:

• Total compensation $75,000-100,000/year with on target earnings, DOE and location
• 401k with 100% match up to 4%

What is K3 Technology looking for?

We are in search of a Senior Systems Engineer for designing and implementation of new solutions. You would take complete ownership of infrastructure, networking and cloud solutions design, project scope creation, project management, project engineering.

The ideal candidate would have MSP, Azure, networking, and sys admin experience, as well as a proven track record in a related role.

On a typical day, your duties might include:

• Direct engineers in performing recurring maintenance
• Assist with leading internal security and compliance objectives
• Assist with interviewing and vetting new engineers
• Train and mentor other engineers
• Scope new opportunities and projects, providing fully defined SOWs and BOMs for quoting and project management purposes
• Manage implementation projects, utilizing engineers and other resources as necessary to drive project tasks to completion
• Maintain knowledge of client applications, infrastructure, and business processes.
• Workload balancing
• Provide clients with strategic objectives utilizing technologies that can best support their business objectives.
• Collaborate with leadership team on the design and build of new service and solution offerings.
• Collaborate with leadership and management to ensure IT resources are efficiently and effectively being utilized. Set your team up for success.
• Obtain and maintain certifications for Azure and Microsoft 365 services, as well as other industry specific and leadership training

• Previous experience working in a similar role, preferably with an MSP
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and workloads

Other specific skills you should be familiar and comfortable with:

Knowledge of ITIL principles and how to implement them, Process Improvement, Developing Standards, Analyzing Information, Establishing and tracking KPIs, Customer Service, Technical Documentation, Quality Control and Quality Assurance

Specific products you should be familiar and comfortable working with:

IT Glue, Service Desk systems (ZenDesk, FreshService, Jira, etc.), MS Windows, MS Windows Server, MacOS, Jamf, N-Central, Connectwise Control, Meraki, Sonicwall, Microsoft Azure,  Microsoft 365, Intune and AutoPilot, KnowBe4, ProofPoint Essentials, Mimecast, Avanan SentinelOne EDR, Monday, ZohoDesk, Slack, MS Office Products, Ubiquiti, VMWare, Veeam, Powershell and scripting, Synology

Bonus Points for certifications in Microsoft Azure, Microsoft 365, Networking or other related fields.

Experience working for an MSP is a huge plus!
