Validation Engineer AUTO

Job Summary

As a Test and Validation Engineer, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of our products through designing and executing tests, analyzing results, and validating product functionality. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that our products meet the required specifications and standards.

Minimum Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
• Proven experience in test engineering, validation, or quality assurance.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, tools, and best practices.
• Industrial/HVAC and AC Auto equipment experience preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical testing, hardware testing, software testing, and embedded systems.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards (UL, CE, etc.)
• Project Management skills
• Certification in testing or quality assurance is a plus.

• Design and implement testing strategies to validate product functionality and performance.
• Execute tests, analyze test results, and identify areas for improvement.
• Collaborate with development teams to troubleshoot issues and drive bug resolution.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Establish test metrics and KPIs to evaluate product quality.
• Participate in design reviews to provide input on testability and validation strategies.
• Maintain test documentation, test reports, and other relevant records.
• Implement and maintain automated testing frameworks.
• Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance product quality
• Conduct root cause analysis of identified defects, providing development teams with sufficient details to understand, replicate and resolve the defect.
• Manage projects through completion to include validation of purchased complete products and components.

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
