The organization has experienced exponential growth in recent years. The firm is sourcing an experienced HR Project Manager to provide guidance and programmatic support to a portfolio of high profile and confidential clients using an intentional best practices approach. The ideal candidate will anticipate the needs of clients and build C-Suite level relationships while providing both tactical support and strategic assistance. SeeKing HR leverages the individual strengths of each team member; assignments and growth are based on capacity and demonstrated capabilities. This is a growth-oriented position with a career ladder that includes Senior Manager and Director.

POSITION SUMMARY

The HR Project Manager provides project support and client advisory services. Fosters relationships with clients and other leadership professionals. Reviews programmatic and project budgets, proposals and business development planning documents ensuring project comprehension and client expectations. Attends and speaks at industry related events. Provides project leadership and support by working with the Client’s Executive Management Team establishing and maintaining objectives, strategies, action plans and policies. This is a working manager position with growth opportunities. May supervise a staff of 2 support personnel. This position is in office with day travel to local clients. Limited overnight travel may be required with advance notice.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

• BA/BS from accredited university with coursework in human resources, business management or related field.
• 7 - 10 years HR Generalist experience or focused functional experience in employee relations, employee development, benefit administration and analytics.
• Bilingual (Spanish), highly desirable (language stipend available pending verification of skills).
• PHR or SHRM-CP or ability to pass certification within six (6) months of employment (examination reimbursement available pending certification)
• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint (skill assessment required during pre-employment process).
• Demonstrated ability to write, edit and proofread functional reports and correspondence.
• Valid Texas Driver License with acceptable MVR and background check

TYPICAL DUTIES

• Plans, develops, evaluates, improves and communicates methods and techniques for selecting, promoting, compensating, evaluating and training client’s workforce.
• Analyzes training needs to develop new training programs or modify and improve existing programs; may present training materials related to employment law and/or client policies.
• Develops and implements client recruiting strategies to meet current or anticipated staffing needs.
• Evaluates client job positions; determining classification, FLSA status, EEO, salary, working conditions and physical requirements.
• Contacts job applicants to inform them of the status of their applications, conducts reference or background checks as required and informs job applicants of details such as duties and responsibilities, compensation, benefits, schedules, working conditions or promotion opportunities.
• Investigates employee relations issues, such as harassment allegations, work complaints or other employee concerns with affected clients and makes recommendations for resolution.
• Observes, interviews and surveys customers and conducts focus group meetings to collect job, organizational and occupational information.
• Drafts and develops policy; uses multimedia visual aids and other informational materials; presents information and provides explanation of learning objectives.
• Interprets and explains human resources policies, procedures, laws, standards and regulations.
• Documents findings of studies and prepares recommendations for implementation of new systems, procedures or organizational changes.
• Prepares reports, such as organization and flow charts, and career path reports, to summarize job analysis and evaluation and compensation analysis information.
• Assists and provides problem resolution guidance to junior human resource professionals on matters related to recruitment, performance management, compensation, job descriptions and employee relations, as requested.
• Analyzes employment-related data and prepares required reports.
• Performs other duties, tasks and special projects as assigned.
