We come from a variety of walks of life and can be found either in Atlanta or in NYC. We are backed by the investment arm of one of America's largest furniture retailers, although we are independent and proudly building a technology in service of the furniture industry and furniture shoppers.

About the Role

We are looking for an Associate Account Manager to support the Partnerships team in working with our key furniture partners and to help them get the most out of Furntiure.com and meet their business goals. As Associate Account Manager, you'll be collaborating on major initiatives by playing an integral role throughout the sales cycle, and an advocate for our partners by providing white glove service. You'll work with executive level business leaders within client organizations and provide excellent presentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

  • Support the partnerships team on all partner related initiatives - ie: strategy, demos, check-in calls, service calls, and in-market travel - through research, deck preparation, scheduling meetings, CRM organization, note taking, event setup and follow up.
  • Project management: Support sales leadership by driving critical projects and strategic initiatives to support partner growth. Commitment to supporting team with creativity and proactivity.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with partners to create successful, mutually beneficial opportunities.
  • Handle client partnerships with empathy, anticipate needs and address concerns in a timely manner.
  • Document observed issues and your own ideas to help improve customer experience.
  • This role has the opportunity to grow into a more senior role on the Partnerships team – including taking on a book of business and driving new business efforts.

Qualifications

Domain Expertise

  • 2-3+ years of experience in client facing role in technology, management consulting, auction house, sales ops, finance or another related business operations field.
  • Strong research skills, high attention to detail.
  • Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions based on data.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to conceptualize and implement ideas that will support brand initiatives.

  • Self –starter who is eager to be proactive and flex into various tasks and responsibilities.
  • Flexible and quick learner who is able to adapt to a nimble work environment.
  • Able to organize and prioritize workload to meet deadlines.
  • Strong intrapersonal skills, very organized, professional, super detail-oriented and a great internal and external communicator (in-person and via email).
  • Experience in working independently, managing multiple concurrent projects and driving strategic and operational initiatives in a cross-functional environment
  • Ability to evolve in a highly-dynamic environment – prioritizing initiatives, meeting milestones or KPIs and driving results with ownership and adaptability
