Quality Control Inspector

Competitive pay $16.00 - $18.00 an hour

The position is in Houston, Texas 77051

Monday-Friday 7:30 am-4:00 pm

Our client, one of the largest line pipe distributors in the United States is looking for a Quality Control Inspector. As a Quality Control Inspector, you will daily inspection on inbound and outbound material.

What You Will Do:

Daily use and care of measuring equipment consisting of calipers, micrometers, tap measure, height gage and NPT threaded gages
Daily inspection on inbound and outbound material
Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
Implement and improve quality control operating procedures

What You Need:

High School Diploma or GED
Experience with fittings flanges pipe preferred
Forklift experience
Must be able to do simple math
Ability to interpret technical product specs
Must be able to pass pre-employment screenings
