Job Summary: Prepares and maintains financial records to track the organization’s assets, liabilities, profit and loss, tax liabilities, and other related financial activities. Responsibilities we’ll trust you with:

• Prepares monthly balance sheets, income statements and profit and loss statements
• Maintains the General Ledger
• Codes, invoices, sets up new accounts, reconciles accounts and closes the monthly books
• Reconciles bank accounts at least monthly, verifies deposits
• Reconciles cash disbursement accounts, payroll, customer accounts, and other financial accounts
• Reconciles corporate credit card transactions to ensure accuracy and compliance with company policies and procedures
• Certifies and or completes payment of invoices associates with accounts payable and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
• Manages the purchasing and invoicing system
• Maintains knowledge of acceptable accounting practices and procedures
• Month end closing
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Your area of knowledge and expertise:Qualifications:

• Minimum bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• Minimum three years of accounting experience.
• Related industry experience preferred.
• Preferred familiarity with GP/Dynamics and Bistrack.
• Expertise in accounting, financial analysis and excel proficiency.

Skills:

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to collaborate effectively.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and willingness to take on new challenges.
• Understanding and adherence to all compliance requirements, including but not limited to generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP).
• Operates with integrity and respects confidentiality of data.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to lift 30+ pounds.
• Frequent sitting requirement for long hours
• Work environment: works inside an office environment.
