Medical Records Clerk

We're looking for a Medical Records Clerk, working in the Healthcare Systems & Services industry in West Palm Beach, Florida, United States.

• Responsible for maintaining patient files, responds to requests for medical records and performs clerical activities in support of the medical records department.
• Primary duties may include but are not limited to protecting the security and integrity of medical records to ensure that patient confidentiality is maintained in compliance with company policies and federal, state, and local regulations.
• Maintain patient files and retrieves files for scheduled appointments.
• Respond to requests for medical records, process letters and report.

• Bilingual - Spanish is required.
• 1+ years’ experience in healthcare environment (clinic)and medical terminology.
• Proficiency in electronic health record software.
• High school diploma/GED required. Bachelor’s degreehighly preferred.
