Field Service Technician

Job Duties include but are not limited to:

• Will inspect, service, and repair equipment in the field without direct supervision and provide written service reports from field findings.
• Maintains frequent contact with the main office to provide updates and review service problems, as well as, with customers to assess service needs.
• Conducts customer training on equipment operation, and maintenance.
• Provides after-sale technical support and service, as required.
• Will be responsible for facility and grounds maintenance.
• Will assist in shipping, receiving, and inventory control.
• Will work closely with international parent company’s employees.

Qualifications:

• 2-3 years of service experience, preferably in a maintenance field
• Good level of technical aptitude including electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic and mechanical systems.
• Proficient and diplomatic with oral and written communication with customers.
• 20% travel required
• Willing to work irregular hours including weekends if required.
• General knowledge of common PC software including MS Office, and e-mail.
• Ability to capture and transmit digital pictures via e- mail.
• Has passport or willing to get one.
• Willing to travel international, as required.
• Local to Alabaster, AL or surrounding areas
