Material Handler

Join our logistics team as a Material Handler in central Phoenix! This vital role is perfect for those experienced in operating material handling equipment and who thrive in a dynamic warehouse environment. As a Material Handler, you'll play a key role in our outbound verification process, ensuring the safe, efficient loading and unloading of materials, and maintaining order within our facility.

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly wage of $17.50.
• Full-time position, 6-month assignment with potential for extension.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload material within the warehouse or storage facility.
• Utilize picking, packing, scanning, kitting, or counting techniques to manage products.
• Maintain a clean environment at all times following the 7S program.
• Operate barcode scanners and warehouse management systems efficiently.
• Prioritize safety for yourself and your team members in all tasks.

Preferred Skills:

• Prior experience operating material handling equipment.
• Familiarity with using handheld scanners and adhering to warehouse safety protocols.
• Positive attitude and strong team collaboration to meet goals and objectives.

Required Skills:

• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and manage objects of various sizes and weights.
• Capable of standing, sitting, or walking for extended periods, and performing physical activities like bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, pushing, and pulling.
• Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.

Nice to Have:

• Flexible schedule availability, with potential for overtime.
• 1 year of warehouse environment experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
