Warehouse Material Handler

National Tube Supply is a leading metals service center specializing in carbon and alloy tubular products. Distributing steel tubing for more than 30 years, we pride ourselves on our customer service and on-time delivery. National Tube Supply has a teamwork-based and fast-paced work environment. We are seeking Warehouse Material Handlers for our University Park, IL location. We currently have openings for the following shifts:
  • 2nd shift (3pm-11:30pm)
The ideal (but not required) candidate will have at least 1 year of steel or industrial experience including operating overhead cranes, reach trucks, saws, and front-end loaders.
Warehouse Material Handler Responsibilities:
  • Operate side loaders, forklifts, overhead pendant crane
  • Properly identify materials.
  • Fill out paperwork.
  • Follow directions on paperwork, special instructions, and from supervisors.
  • Safely handle, move, stack, and load material
  • Measure/verify material to BOL, Packing List, Job Traveler, Load Manifest.
  • Operate general warehouse equipment: air grinder, banding, razor knife,
  • Operate automated saw cutting material equipment.
  • Process orders into computer software.
Warehouse Material Handler Requirements:
Successful applicants will be required to complete a post-off Hair Follicle Drug Screen (approx. 3-6 month window) and background check.
Starting base rate: $17.00/hr
- 2nd shift earns a $1.25 shift differential
