ABOUT THE ROLE

As a contributing engineer, you’ll work in a cross-functional and collaborative environment with highly skilled and passionate team members across the globe that are committed to building exceptional products. Your primary responsibility will be the regular delivery of features, writing automated tests for those features, and continuously improving the quality of your coding practices. You are excited about learning and experimenting with cutting edge technologies, and love to create innovative technical solutions with a high standard of execution and performance. You are also driven to continuously expand your personal and professional growth, both under the guidance and direction of your supervisor and under the mentorship of the lead and principal engineers that you work with on projects.

WHAT WE EXPECT

1-3 years of professional software development experience, preferable for mobile applications
A degree in Computer Science or related field and/or a proven record of releasing apps to the store
At least 1 year of iOS application development experience using Swift and Xcode
Experience composing complex UI using Storyboards in Xcode (some experience with SwiftUI preferred)
Broad knowledge of the Cocoa Touch SDK, the iOS platform and the overall Apple ecosystem
Strong foundations in object-oriented design, protocol-oriented design and familiarity with the MVVM architectural pattern
Strong conceptual understanding of Functional Reactive Programming methodologies (some experience with Reactive Swift or Combine preferred)
Knowledge of CS foundations like data structures, algorithm design, problem solving, multi-threading, and complexity analysis
A strong understanding of Agile principles and methodologies, including workflows and ceremonies
Some experience with unit testing and other workflow automations like continuous integration
