Summary: Milstead Service Center is currently seeking a skilled and experienced RV Technician to join our team. As an RV Technician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics for recreational vehicles (RVs) of various makes and models. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, serving the needs of RV enthusiasts and travelers while collaborating with a team of dedicated professionals.

Responsibilities:

1. Perform comprehensive inspections and diagnostics on RV systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical components.
2. Conduct routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, lubrication, filter replacements, and fluid checks to ensure optimal performance and longevity of RVs.
3. Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, appliances, and generators.
4. Repair and replace plumbing components, fixtures, and water systems as needed.
5. Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with RV engines, transmissions, brakes, suspension systems, and drivetrain components.
6. Perform bodywork repairs, including fiberglass repair, panel replacement, and painting.
7. Install and repair RV accessories, such as awnings, solar panels, satellite systems, and leveling jacks.
8. Provide accurate estimates for repair costs and communicate effectively with customers regarding service recommendations and timelines.
9. Adhere to safety protocols and industry standards while performing all repair and maintenance tasks.
10. Maintain a clean and organized work area, including tools, equipment, and service bays.

Qualifications:

1. High school diploma or equivalent; vocational or technical training in automotive or RV repair preferred.
2. Proven experience as an RV Technician or similar role, with a strong understanding of RV systems and components.
3. Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, equipment, and service manuals for troubleshooting and repair purposes.
4. Excellent mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
6. Effective communication and customer service skills.
7. Ability to work independently and as part of a team, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines.
8. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
