We are currently searching for an experienced Site Civil Engineer to support our Carolinas Region located in Raleigh or Charlotte, NC.

What you’ll be doing:

Prepare design plans and construction documents for civil infrastructure improvements for general civil, transportation and utility projects. This work may include: roadway design and drainage design; traffic management, pavement marking, and signing plans; site design; civil/site permitting; utility coordination and/or design.
• Knowledge of construction process as it relates to civil engineering improvement projects
• Project management including: frequent communication with clients, local agencies and permitting agencies
• On-site project visits – occasional travel will be required

What you need to have:

Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited engineering program
• 5 - 10 years of engineering experience
• EIT Certification or Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of North Carolina
• Experience with Microstation and Geopak, AutoCAD. Open Roads experience preferred.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team environment
• Individual must be highly motivated and have the ability to articulate engineering concepts to technical personnel
