Job description

Position Overview

This position provides an opportunity to work on projects focused on:

  • Site development and civil engineering (site layout, grading, drainage, erosion and sediment control, permitting, etc.)
  • Stormwater management
  • Solid waste and sustainable materials management
  • Ecosystem restoration and coastal resiliency
  • Water/wastewater treatment, collection, and distribution
  • Related environmental and civil subject areas
Responsibilities

Consult with EA team members and clients to:

  • Perform engineering design tasks
  • Perform engineering calculations and evaluations
  • Develop engineering plans and specifications
  • Prepare technical reports
  • Perform alternatives analyses
  • Provide engineering office and field support for projects under construction

This position will be tailored to a specific candidate's experience and personal interest and is best suited for an individual who is excited to develop experience across a range of technical and managerial skills.

Required Qualifications
  • Professional Engineer (P.E.), or Engineer-in-Training working towards a P.E.
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in civil or environmental engineering or a related field
  • 3 or more years of environmental infrastructure or site development design experience, with a site/civil or stormwater management focus
  • 2 or more years of practical experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D; proficiency desired
